"Furnace wasn’t working on Friday morning after thanksgiving. Called Hartman Brothers. They were able to get here in the early afternoon. They diagnosed the problem and got it fixed quickly. "We reached out to Hartman Brothers as our previous place was actually rude and acted like didnt care as we had an issue with the AC. Our systems at that point were about 14 years old. We got a quote from previous place and i about fell off my chair. Called Hartman Brothers and asked if they could provide a quote for us on both and in AC alone. Super impressed as Rick came out next morning. Looked at what we currently had and that same day had a complete quote to us. We were scheduled for May 26 install however they had a cancellation and came out May 17. Both techs were super amazing. Talked with us with everything and answered all of our questions. They came out a little before 8am and everything was installed and working by 2pm. Cleaned up their stuff ( which was great as we have 3 dogs). Never have we experienced this type of professionalism from any company. We are all so pleased with Hartman Brothers including Vicki in the office. She was great helping me and explaining the maintenance agreement. If you ever need a great team you wont be disappointed with Hartman Brothers ! Most homes use a single primary form of heating, and are tied to whatever costs or inefficiencies those may incur – gas price spikes in a gas furnace, for example, or reduced efficiency in heat pump systems when outdoor temperatures are low.
A dual-fuel system combines the best attributes of combustion furnaces with an air-source heat pump and helps you save energy throughout the heating season. In the winter, a heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and transfers it inside for efficient heating – that is, until temperatures fall to around 30 degrees. At that point, with a dual-fuel system, a high-efficiency furnace takes over the work for comfortable, relatively affordable heating. This is preferable to the emergency heat in a regular air-source heat pump, which will trigger an electric heating element that's expensive to use.
