"22 years ago Hartman's installed our furnace/AC. When the unit recently started having serious issues Hartman's tried to repair the unit, spending a few hours but the aging unit had given all it could and wouldn't stay fired after the flame sense was cleaned and the rest of the unit examined.
That tech, who's name I have unfortunately lost - possibly Jim, thoroughly explained everything during his inspection so I could relay the information to my husband.
After I discussed financing options with Hartman's for the replacement Rick Hartman cared for every detail and made the transition seamless. Our issue began on 3/10 and the replacement unit was installed on 3/14; a needed part was driven overnight to meet the installation date. Kevin and Jason from the install crew were very knowledgeable, professional and quickly fabricated a 3 in metal base for a perfect fit. This crew comes prepared! Josh set the unit air force specs 4 times until we found my personal preference. Roger Hartman came out during installation to give us our paperwork and check with the install crew. The installation was completed in 7 hrs and the crew never took a break! I would hire Hartman's any day for a red carpet customer service satisfaction experience with a company that has a great reputation, a friendly and professional crew with many years of accumulated experience, all the employees clearly work well together and have excellent knowledge and workmanship and work ethics. I highly recommend Hartman's, you won't be disappointed. They not only arrived on time but we're actually a little early!

"Came home from work to find that my furnace wasn't working. Since the temperatures were extremely mild for November, I just left a message for them to call me the next day. Received a call by 7:25 am and told that the repair man would be there in approximately a half hour. He was at my house by 8:30 and he had it back running within 45 minutes. He went the extra step and made sure that there was no other possible issues before he left. I'd recommend Hartman Brothers Heating to anyone, they are courteous, reliable, knowledgeable and won't gouge you like some companies."

Air conditioner troubleshooting comes in two flavors: The easy stuff you can do yourself and the technical problems should be left to an experienced HVAC professional. The DIY version mainly involves ruling out the obvious things that might result in a wasted service call. You may encounter a simple fault you can fix yourself. But if not, you’ll end up scheduling a service call to repair the problem. Still, because you’ve at least ruled out the obvious potential problem yourself, after air conditioner troubleshooting, you’ll have more confidence in what the technician recommends.
