"Our Sunday started with the air-conditioner not cooling our home. Monday same thing but not sure if it just couldnt keep up with the high temps. Tuesday decided to call Hartmans heating & Air Conditioning Very. Busy but said they would send a tec out on Thursday. Tec came we talked and he went to work to find the problem, We need a new start up switch , it was installed and after all his checking he gave us a smile and said we are back with the air conditioning working,, We have been with Hartmans for many years and are always so grateful, thankful for their help. The DIY version mainly involves ruling out the obvious things that might result in a wasted service call. You may encounter a simple fault you can fix yourself. But if not, you’ll end up scheduling a service call to repair the problem. Still, because you’ve at least ruled out the obvious potential problem yourself, after air conditioner troubleshooting, you’ll have more confidence in what the technician recommends.
