"Every thing went well, even though he had bad news that the unit needed to be replaced due to the fact that the unit was 18 years old and the refrigerant used in the day was R22 that it cant be purchased because of government regulations, now we will see what the estimate will be. "Ked was my "usual" service tech for many years. He was always friendly & kind...and didn't mind letting my big dog say hi. He was always professional and efficient. I liked having the piece of mind in knowing my HVAC needs are met & running well. I have used their maintenance plan for many years now, and haven't been disappointed. "Our Sunday started with the air-conditioner not cooling our home. Monday same thing but not sure if it just couldnt keep up with the high temps. Tuesday decided to call Hartmans heating & Air Conditioning Very. Busy but said they would send a tec out on Thursday. Tec came we talked and he went to work to find the problem, We need a new start up switch , it was installed and after all his checking he gave us a smile and said we are back with the air conditioning working,, We have been with Hartmans for many years and are always so grateful, thankful for their help. Air conditioner troubleshooting comes in two flavors: The easy stuff you can do yourself and the technical problems should be left to an experienced HVAC professional. The DIY version mainly involves ruling out the obvious things that might result in a wasted service call. You may encounter a simple fault you can fix yourself. But if not, you’ll end up scheduling a service call to repair the problem. Still, because you’ve at least ruled out the obvious potential problem yourself, after air conditioner troubleshooting, you’ll have more confidence in what the technician recommends.
