"Brian showed me what was wrong with my air conditioning unit and explained everything so I could understand. He spoke to Vicki at the office regarding a needed part that would have to be ordered. They could have slapped a generic part on, but it would have only been a short-term fix. Instead of taking the easy way out, they are getting the part made for my unit so it will stay fixed, and they are coming back to finish the job as soon as they have the part. Hartman Brothers is ethical, knowledgeable, friendly, and they do the job right! I highly recommend them!"

"Jim went over and above as he identified a problem that other techs had not noted in the 2 years prior and took the time to educate us on the issue. We also had questions about our thermostat settings and while in our home, Jim researched and found the answer. Great service isn’t always knowing it all, but rather assessing situations, thoughtfully problem solving, and seeking answers from others when needed. "Love these people! We bought a brand new furnace and ac a year ago. For some crazy reason something happened to the ac Sunday when it was 91 degrees . I had a service guy here Sunday and Monday... The HVAC industry welcomes diversity in terms of a person's background, gender, and ethnicity. Even so, there has always been a shortage of women who have decided to make it their career. To illustrate the impact that women in HVAC history have had on the industry, we would like to discuss two important standouts - Margaret Engels and Alice Parker.
The concept of HVAC has been around for thousands of years. The ancient Romans and Greeks used channels under marble flooring to distribute heat. However, it was until 1902 that the modern A/C idea was launched by Willis Carrier. Today's systems have experienced tremendous technological upgrades that make them significantly different from the older ones. Let's explore the recent HVAC history that has contributed to that.
