"Ked was my "usual" service tech for many years. He was always friendly & kind...and didn't mind letting my big dog say hi. He was always professional and efficient. I liked having the piece of mind in knowing my HVAC needs are met & running well. I have used their maintenance plan for many years now, and haven't been disappointed. Well, Caleb didn't disappoint either. He loved my "big boy" and had a great sense of humor. He was very thorough in servicing my air conditioner. Hartman has taken care of my heating/air since 2001 so i didn't even hesitate to call! Brad was great and was able to remedy the issue quickly. He was polite and knowledgeable! "Came home from work to find that my furnace wasn't working. Since the temperatures were extremely mild for November, I just left a message for them to call me the next day. Received a call by 7:25 am and told that the repair man would be there in approximately a half hour. He was at my house by 8:30 and he had it back running within 45 minutes. He went the extra step and made sure that there was no other possible issues before he left. I'd recommend Hartman Brothers Heating to anyone, they are courteous, reliable, knowledgeable and won't gouge you like some companies."

In homes heated by a furnace, setting the temperature back at night ensures energy savings. That’s not necessarily the case with a heat pump, however. In order to avoid turning on the backup electric resistance heat during the recovery period (when the unit is working to get back to your comfort temperature), the heat pump's thermostat needs to work in a special way.
