"I signed up for a service plan, as I’m not much of a handyman myself. They had a variety of payment options with the service plan, so I was able to start monthly payments, which works best for me. Our service person was polite, and he explained everything in terms I had no problems understanding. I had an additional issue with an attic duct being chewed through. He got up there and got pictures right away so they could put together an estimate. Same visit, no hassle. And because of the service plan, there was no charge for the system check. I just let him in, showed him around, and he worked his magic. No regrets here. There’s a very good chance I’ll just keep up this service plan for the entire time I own my home."

"Furnace wasn’t working on Friday morning after thanksgiving. Called Hartman Brothers. They were able to get here in the early afternoon. They diagnosed the problem and got it fixed quickly. If you haven't had an ice dam on your roof, consider yourself lucky. These home wreckers can cause all kinds of damage to your roof, attic, ceilings and walls. They are caused when melting snow pools up behind a wall of ice at the edge of the roof. This water backs up under shingling and leaks into the attic area and along the inside of the exterior walls of the home.
