"Ked came on time for my semi-annual scheduled appointment, checked out the furnace and changed the filter. He spent a considerable amount of time trying to track and fix a problem with my smart hub, but stayed with it until we think it is fixed. This is the third HVAC system I have purchased from Hartman Brothers over the past 40 years and I have always been pleased with their service, product and personnel. That is why I still use them. Took them awhile to convince me the annual maintenance program is a good deal, but with all the electronics in the new systems, the system needs care and feeding from a professional! If your home's thermostat is like those in most homes, the fan setting is probably on "auto," which seems to be the default in most systems. But that begs the question, what does the "on" setting mean? This isn't an idle question since setting your thermostat fan one way or the other can make a big difference in energy bills and home comfort.
