"I signed up for a service plan, as I’m not much of a handyman myself. They had a variety of payment options with the service plan, so I was able to start monthly payments, which works best for me. Our service person was polite, and he explained everything in terms I had no problems understanding. I had an additional issue with an attic duct being chewed through. He got up there and got pictures right away so they could put together an estimate. Same visit, no hassle. And because of the service plan, there was no charge for the system check. I just let him in, showed him around, and he worked his magic. No regrets here. There’s a very good chance I’ll just keep up this service plan for the entire time I own my home."

"On Saturday, my water heater spewed lots of water in the utility portion of my garage. Unfortunately, my furnace was soaked. After my call to Hartman Bros., Darian arrived within the hour and dried out the furnace and re-started it. When you're planning a renovation or adding more livable space, heating and cooling it can become an issue, especially if it would be difficult or expensive to extend ducts from your current HVAC system. However, ductless mini-splits are excellent ways to condition a space without ducts, since these heat pumps vent air directly into a space. Like a regular air-source heat pump, a mini-split has two main parts: an outdoor compressor/condenser and one or more interior air handlers. A conduit connects these parts.
