Where Should Your Tankless Water Heater Go?The small size of tankless water heaters allow them to fit just about anywhere in your home. You could mount your tankless water heater in a closet, under a sink, or in a storage area or hang it in the corner of your garage. Tankless Water Heater Basics -- Why Does It Take Longer to Heat?If you are replacing your storage tank water heater or are installing a new one in a new construction or commercial building, you may be considering a tankless water heater. These take up much less space for installation and are more efficient than storage water heaters. They also offer a constant supply of hot water, as long as they're sized correctly for your needs. The initial cost may be higher for purchase and installation, but in the long run a tankless unit should last much longer than a storage water heater and save much more in monthly water heating costs, since a tankless unit doesn't need to keep 40-50 gallons of water heated constantly.

Plan For Water Heater Replacement Before You Absolutely Need ToIn most cases, consumers wait for their water heater to go out before they consider a replacement. This can lead to a lack of hot water until the old model is replaced, and it may result in a higher cost up-front because you won't be able to wait for end-of-the-years sales or other discounts that might be available. Since this is somewhat of an emergency, you may have to pay a premium for immediate service.

"The service was great as always. The 2 men who came to install my new furnace were very professional and took the time to explain what they were doing and showed me what the problem was with my old furnace. Thanks Mr Hartman for coming up North and for having a great crew."

"I signed up for a service plan, as I’m not much of a handyman myself. They had a variety of payment options with the service plan, so I was able to start monthly payments, which works best for me. Our service person was polite, and he explained everything in terms I had no problems understanding. I had an additional issue with an attic duct being chewed through. He got up there and got pictures right away so they could put together an estimate. Same visit, no hassle. And because of the service plan, there was no charge for the system check. I just let him in, showed him around, and he worked his magic. No regrets here. There’s a very good chance I’ll just keep up this service plan for the entire time I own my home."
