"Our Sunday started with the air-conditioner not cooling our home. Monday same thing but not sure if it just couldnt keep up with the high temps. Tuesday decided to call Hartmans heating & Air Conditioning Very. Busy but said they would send a tec out on Thursday. Tec came we talked and he went to work to find the problem, We need a new start up switch , it was installed and after all his checking he gave us a smile and said we are back with the air conditioning working,, We have been with Hartmans for many years and are always so grateful, thankful for their help. For more than two years, there has been a legal battle between the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and several HVAC trade organizations over regional HVAC system efficiency standards. The long-running dispute has come to a close with a recent court decision that accepted a joint settlement agreement that was filed on March 11.
About 40 percent of the energy consumed by the U.S. residential sector is for space heating purposes. That makes raising gas furnace efficiency standards a huge target for
